Occupational Health and Safety
Mansfield Constructions priority is to provide a safe workplace for all our people, along with all those who come into contact with our works. Safety is a focal point of everything we do, and this focus is well supported by our Occupational Health and Safety Management System. This system is certified to meet the requirements contained within Occupational Health and Safety Systems International Standard ISO 45001: 2018. This has enabled us to formulate a system which takes into account legislative requirements and information about OHS risk.
This safety management system assists us to:
Identify, assess and control OHS risks;
Implement preventative and corrective action;
Maintain certification / registration of our management system;
Audit the effectiveness of our systems for best practice and continual improvement; and
Provide a healthy and safe workplace.

Environmental
Mansfield Constructions is committed to establishing and maintaining work environments with priority given to protecting and minimising adverse environmental effects from our activities and processes, realising the need for sustainable environmental management complying with Environmental Management Systems International Standard ISO 14001:2015.
As we actively work in forestry environments, our team is educated in working in locations with a range of site specific environmental, cultural and heritage values and risks. Our team has been taught to identify these risks, and ensure actions are in place to protects these values.
Our team have completed Cultural Heritage inductions, Hazardous Tree Awareness training, and discussions and site learning surrounding threatened fauna and flora species.
